Right before Spring Break, Caley pumped their students up for a new PBIS Safety initiative. The Cougars in grades K-4 and staff participated in fun games, and winners got to reveal the letters in the word "S-A-F-E". Students are currently earning orange Kudos for safe behaviors throughout any part of the school day. Orange Kudos will be collected and counted each Friday and will then be recorded on a safety cone. If the Cougars can collect 500 or more Kudos, they will earn a special SURPRISE Celebration! But wait there's more... Four students from each grade-level can earn a special GOLDEN TICKET for always exhibiting safe behaviors each day. Those students will earn a Golden Lunch outside with Mrs. Vicente! 

We are excited to announce UMASD is a recipient of GIANT’s Feeding School Kids initiative! Thanks to their support, we will receive $5770.62 to help eliminate child hunger within our schools by combating lunch debt. Thank you to all who rounded up at the register!
